Conference Introduction

One of the most required tools for the health industry is surgical instruments. Though they are produced in many countries, the export standards are matched by only few countries. The largest global exporter of surgical instruments is Pakistan with a global trade figure of $17bn (Khan, 2016). Sialkot, a city of Pakistan, is the hub for manufacturing quality surgical tools (Chin, 2012), and above 90% of the countries’ production is centered at this city (TRTA Pakistan, 2017).
