Overview Road Map

Introduction

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a four years’ degree program that offers the fundamental concepts required in today's business world. The program is tailored around the basic areas of business, management, economics, marketing, accounting, and finance. It trains students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the global business environment. Furthermore, the students will be guided by high ethical standards to operate in the local business environment. A distinctive feature of the BBA program is that it incorporates within the curriculum, major emphasis on the development of students' fundamental learning skills, for example: reasoning and quantitative abilities; as well as communication and computing skills which they will need for responsible leadership roles in their careers.

Mission

At KUBEAC, we are committed to serve the community by developing leadership, professional and entrepreneurial skills of the students. We strive to achieve it by encouraging our faculty to employ diverse teaching methodologies and providing state of the art learning environment to the students.

Program Objectives

The KUBEAC objectives specify the intellectual and behavioural competencies that graduates should possess and that provide a foundation for their future professional and personal development and success. Learning goals are general statements, so a number of measurable program objectives are also established for each goal.

1. Effective Communication Skills

Learning Outcome: Graduates must be able to draft effective business documents and prepare and deliver effective oral business presentations by using a variety of appropriate technologies.

2. Problem Solving and Reasoning Skills

Learning Outcome: Graduates must be able to reflect thinking techniques to identify and analyse problems, develop viable alternatives, make effective decisions and apply appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve business problems.

3. Team work and Leadership Roles

Learning Outcome: Graduates must be able to work effectively in teams and understand group processes, leadership, conflict, power and culture in organizations.

4. Core Business Knowledge and Capabilities   

Learning Outcome: Graduate must be able to demonstrate competency in the underlying concepts, theory and tools taught in the core undergraduate curriculum. Moreover, graduates must be instilled with the required skills to initiate independent ventures or to upgrade existing businesses through effective decision making and exploiting untapped potential within the market.

5. Ethics in Doing Businesses

Learning Outcome: Graduates must be able to identify and analyse ethical conflicts and issues involving different stakeholders in order to develop viable alternatives and make effective decisions relating to business ethics.

6. Industry Focus

Learning Outcome: Graduates must be able to understand the dynamics of local industry and understand business as an integrated system and apply strategic planning tools to coordinate among the functional areas. 

7. Global Perspective

Learning Outcome: Graduates must be able to identify and analyse relevant global factors that influence decision-making in their respective domains and develop viable alternatives and solutions for international business settings. They must also be able to identify and assess relevant global practices that influence work performance in different functional areas and to plan, redesign and implement those practices in the local business context.

8. Social Responsibility

Learning Outcome: Graduate must be socially responsible in their professions and business settings.

  • 12-years of formal education with minimum 50% marks/ A-Level.
  • 50% Marks in NTS/UMT Entry Test.
