BS Food Science and Technology


Food Technology is an application of food sciences that involves the selection, preservation, processing and packaging of food products based upon food chemistry, biology, and engineering principles. Development of food safety and food quality systems are at the heart of food technology programs.

This program assists students with a strong comprehension of all aspects of food processing and food product development that are aligned with latest processing and analytical techniques. Moreover this food technology program is designed to provide latest knowledge about novel functional foods, sensory evaluation techniques and current food laws and regulations.

Admission Requirements:

  • FSc (Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering) are eligible with 45% Marks

  • MCAT or UMT Admission
