Department of Electrical Engineering, UMT Sialkot under the umbrella of Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) conducted an Educational Visit of BSEE students to Interloop Industrial Park, Faisalabad on 17 July 2019. Engr. Muhammad Shoaib Saleem being focal person IAB and industrial linkages, coordinated the visit along Engr. Saad Ahmad Minhas, Engr. Adnan Khalid, Mr. Shahzad Ali and Mr. Mubeen under the kind supervision of CoD EE Dr. Aun Haider.
Students visited various sections and departments at Interloop including knitting & dying section, Interloop Green Build, 15.4MW thermal power plant, Grid Station and 2MW Photovoltaic electric power generation systems. This visit will help attainment of PLOs under PEC-OBA compliance and strengthen practical knowledge of students. Student are very motivated, inspired and impressed by technical information gained there and hospitality of Interloop.
