The Rector UMT, Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad called a meeting and invited the participants who recently returned from USA after completing Training on Teaching and Research in George Mason University (GMU), Virginia, USA. Prof. Dr. Shahid J. Butt (Director Academics UMT Sialkot Campus) was also nominated by the Rector for this training as a participant of wave 2 through CFETR funded by the States Department.
During the meeting with Rector, each participant shared his/her experience of the training as how it remained effective, purposeful and improved the skills of participants. The same updated mode of learning and research would be quite helpful while teaching in the classes of various degree programs.
The Honorable Rector took a keen interest in listening the views of intellectual learning of the participants and appreciated a lot of accomplishing the responsibility with serious devotion and dedication. The Rector emphasized the participants that everyone should continue the academic interaction with the GMU and other American Universities to explore the possibilities of acquiring funding for further academic and research skill's development. The rector extended his full satisfaction of the outcome of this visit with the assurance to continue his cooperation in this regard. In the end a group photo of wave 2 with Rector had made the moment ever still and memorable.
