Engr. Muhammad Shoaib Saleem, Lecturer EE under supervision of his research supervisor Dr. Naeem Abas, published a research article entitled "Design and optimization of hybrid solar-hydrogen generation system using TRNSYS" in "International Journal of Hydrogen Energy" with Impact Factor 4.084.
This article utilizes renewable energy resources with thermally efficient Evacuated Glass Tube solar water heaters combined with environmental friendly Hydrogen energy to fulfill hot water demand. A set of 15 working fluids are chosen, and their chemical properties are computed using NIST standard software (REFPROP). The selected working fluids are tested in the system under study and plots for energy gain and temperature are plotted using TRNSYS.
