Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization was inaugurated by Mr. Abid H K Shirwani, DG UMT at UMT Sialkot Campus. Mr Syed Belal, Director Campus, Prof. Dr. Shahid Butt, Director Academics/Head ORIC, PhD faculty members and CoDs/Area Coordinators were also present in the inaugural ceremony held on Friday, May 26, 2017. Speaking to the audience, Mr. Shirwani said that ORIC would perform a pivotal role to advance academia-industry linkage. Mr. Syed Belal spoke on how to make ORIC really functional and vibrant. Dr. Shahid said that it was a historic day in the life of UMT Sialkot Campus.
