The 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated at UMT Sialkot with national enthusiasm. The Ceremony was arranged by Office of Participants's Afairs, Honorable Director Campus Syed Muhammad Belal was the Cheif Guest. The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat Rasool Maqbool (PBUH).The national flag was hoisted during the ceremony. participants sang national songs and national anthem. Participants expressed solidarity with the people of Indian-held Kashmir.
Addressing the participants, Director Campus stressed the need of unity to lend strong support to innocent Kashmiris of the Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK). He said Pakistan should raise the voice of the IOK Kashmiris at every international forum. He also said that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiris would never go wasted and soon the IOK people would achieve freedom.
Director Campus said that our elders visualized and articulated the true picture of freedom and liberty; the messages of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam must be spread among the people in order to make prosperity in every field of life and each member of the nation must play his due role in order to strengthen the country and secure the freedom of our country.
